Sub-Letting Becomes A Criminal Offence

A change in the Law comes into effect in October 2013

Any Old Oak tenant found guilty of subletting their property without permission after this date could face a two-year prison sentence and a fine of up to £50,000.

Old Oak is giving tenants the chance to end their tenancy between 1 October and 30 November 2013. There will be no legal proceedings for tenancy fraud against anyone who surrenders their tenancy during this time.

Tenants can end their tenancy or report suspected tenancy fraud by contacting Old Oak on 020 8743 5486 or by emailing
